Vintage Truck Restoration
Modest restoration of a neglected heavy duty vintage work truck.
After years left outside, this tuck required replacement of everything Rubber, Vinyl, or Wood; (along with getting it running, a full service, and a vigorous de-mousing). As a 3800, or 1-Ton class, some parts for this specific advanced design Chevrolet were difficult to find, the transmission cover for example had to be modified to accommodate the large hand brake. The wood for the bed deck “kit” had to be heavily modified to fit and was treated with helmsman for longevity.
