Built as a partnership between the City of San Francisco and CCA's Build Lab, the Navigation Center at 165 Capp St. provides a new form of homeless assistance for SF residents in the Historic Mission District. Built as a class, I was responsible for designing and constructing critical moments, such as fastening verticals into the existing structure behind our lining, building the substructure for the bench system, and building out complex areas such as the window aperture and deck of the front office, and the main ramp that services it and some of the difficult corner details.
