Wall Mounted Heat Pump Installation for an Independent ADU.

The client needed to separate and convert an existing bedroom suite into a rental studio. The most critical element in enabling this was the installation of independent climate control. We selected this 1 Ton Mitsubishi heat pump unit as it could both heat and cool the space efficiently, while being the only manufacturer to offer an Infrared Eye that could track human activity in a space, and shut itself off automatically to save energy. We built a robust Unistrut mount to install the outdoor unit safely out of the way and made affordances below for the homes main air conditioner to be upgraded similarly in the future.
